Guarantee Terms

Your enduring satisfaction with our products is of utmost importance to us. And at 1857 we strive to craft products of the best quality and durability that we can, using the best possible materials.  In keeping with this tradition, we give a 5 year guarantee on all of our products against defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is available only to the original purchaser of the product or in the case of a gift purchase, the person we originally shipped the product to.

If you find a fault or problem in our product, as a first step please send us an email at customerservice@1857.in,   giving details of the problem, preferably along with pictures for us to understand better. If you can include the purchase invoice number it will be even better. After ascertaining all the details and nature of the problem, we will provide you with our best service solution.

Given the natural aspects of  leather and the products, our guarantee is not an unconditional one. Some of the things the guarantee does not cover are:

• Normal scratches and scrapes that occur in daily use.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Any damages due to mishandling, misuse, abuse or extreme use of the product.
• Damage due to extreme conditions, accidents, floods, strong chemicals, extreme heat and sun etc.
• Loss of the product itself or the loss or damage of the contents of the product.

Beyond the 5 year period too, we will be happy to address and try to set right any problem you face with our product. Depending on the nature of repair or service, there may be a reasonable fee involved, along with the courier charges.
